IFA 2026 kicks off on 4 September 2026 at the Berlin Exhibition Centre – it is one of the world’s most important and long-established trade fairs for consumer electronics and domestic appliances. Set-up will begin in calendar week 35, ahead of the exhibition opening.
To ensure that everything runs smoothly in the two central halls 14 and 15 (between the ICC and the Radio Tower), including the associated main entrance area, our site supervision team has been working flat out over the past few weeks and months alongside the other parties involved in the construction. Together, we have managed to complete the comprehensive refurbishment of these listed areas in good time, fitting them with new finishes and completely new technology.
Since January 2025, our team has taken the plans drawn up by Halfmann Pfeffer Architects through to the tendering and contract award stages, and has coordinated and supervised the on-site works in planning phase 8. Even at the time the contract was awarded, it was clear that meeting the deadlines in time for the IFA was an absolute priority – all those involved in the project have contributed with great dedication throughout the process to ensure that this ambitious target was actually achieved.
We are delighted with this joint success.
Thanks to our team, to everyone involved in the project and, in particular, to the project management team of Messe Berlin, whose decisiveness and close, trusting collaboration were key factors in ensuring completion on schedule.
